Overview
Fraud Paralegal Watsons Recruitment are pleased to be working for this top, award-winning UK wide legal firm who now have a rare opportunity to join their fraud team. Main Role To manage both litigated and non-litigated caseload, managing non-litigated cases up to trial Assist in the preparation of statements, disclosure statements, trial and hearing bundles, making applications, taking witness statements and general file handling. Ability to understand and follow strategic management of cases and implement investigation plans in a timely and cost effective manner Detailed understanding of civil procedures and strategic use and the ability to manage consolidated cases Understanding of Enforcements - the ability to bring proactive litigation, tort or deceit, contempt and criminal process Demonstrate knowledge and experience of First party indemnity issues (Article 75) Ability to proactively manage and deliver accurate and punctual MI and adhere to strict client service standards and KPIs. Ability to deal with a variety of insurance fraud work including low velocity impact claims, phantom passengers, staged or contrived accidents. Ability to proactively manage both litigated and pre-litigated personal injury matters and prioritise accordingly. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Previous litigation experience and fraud experience Knowledge of IT packages Minimal typing / Excel skills Verbal and numerical reasoning skills Essential to you have a positive attitude and tenacity to defend complex and difficult technical issues Forensic attention to detail Experience of operating in a commercial practice where team work is paramount.
