If yes, this job is for you Cordant People are recruiting for Trainee Laser Room Operatives on behalf of our client based in Stockport. Job Type: Full-time, Permanent > Hours rolling shift pattern of 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm/8am-4pmaveraging 37 hours per week. During training you will work a regular day shift - 8am-4pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-3.30pm on Friday. >Pay Salary: £23,000 - £27,000 per annum commensurate with experience. >Holidays: 22 days holiday per year Plus bank holidays >Overtime and shift allowance is paid. > All overalls, boots and safety equipment will be provided. About the company > Our client is an established manufacturing company of 27 years who are looking for a Trainee Laser Room Operatives to join their team. >The role requires a qualified mechanical or electronic engineer to train within our laser department. Engineering graduates would be ideal. The position would be well suited to a CNC programmer. >Engineering experience is essential. > Duties will include the setting and laser engraving of precision printing rollers, working to high tolerances and in accordance to customer's drawings. > This is a technical role requiring a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
