Our central finance team in Ashby de la Zouch have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Internal Controller to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract. Managing one direct report you will take the lead within the UKIN cluster for internal control working alongside the Financial Accounting Managers. You main responsibilities will be: Responsible for reviewing processes and records to ensure all of the Finance team are operating in line with generally accepted accounting principles, laws and industry and company standards. Ensure all BSAR's are completed, correctly reviewd and signed off in line with the agreed resonsibility Responsible for coordinating the implementation of agreed standardised processes and templates within the cluster and ensuring all BSAR's are completed on a monthly basis to this effect. When the quality of control is not acceptable, work with the Senior Finance Team to identify root cause and resolution One direct report who is responsible for the property related control accounts To be successful in this role you will be CIMA or ACCA qualified with proven financial management experience and able to demonstrate working within a busy finance team. You will be able to influence decisions, be tactful in your approach, convey a high level of confidentiality and able to communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial colleagues on any financial issue. You will be IT literate with a good understanding of accounting and reporting software’s and capable with MS packages such as Excel.
