Job Title: Contracts Manager Salary: £45k - £60k Car, pension, medical, 24 Days Holiday and Bank Holidays Hours: 45hours per week Location: Aldershot Role: This is a great opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager, ideally from a utilities and construction background, to join Clancy on our South East Water contract. As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the Operations Manager, Planning Manager, Re instatement Manager and H&S Advisor Reporting to the Senior Contact Manager the Contract Manager will be responsible for managing the day to day running of an R&M and Metering Contract with a P&L responsibility of up to £15m and help to plan for the new AMP7 period. Responsibilities: Developing good working relationships and close liaison with clients. Dealing with all aspects of cost control and value. Responsible for the P&L of a specific contract performance. Managing health, safety and environment issues. Responsible for the day to day management, coaching and development of area managers and other direct reports. Dealing with customer care issues. Management of risks associated with CDM. Proactively seek ways to improve how the work is delivered through efficient work practices, promoting and communicating service performance and best practice to all staff. Key Skills & Experience Experience of working as a Contract or Operations Manager ideally from the water utilities sector Experience of running a P&L with a minimum of £10m value Be able to communicate a clearly across all levels of the organisation Qualifications and specific training Essential Educated to GCSE or equivalent IOSH qualification ILM Level or equivalent Desirable SMSTS Qualification Formal CDM Training (allowing production and management of Construction Phase Plans) Full NRSWA qualifications.
