Overview

SF Group are looking to recruit a HR Coordinator for a business in Harborne B17. This is temp for 6-8 weeks. Rate of pay £10ph You will take full responsibility for the day to day administration of the department. To be a point of contact for general internal and external HR enquires, referring queries to the Workforce Manager. To accurately maintain and update electronic and paper based records. To work alongside the Workforce Manager to ensure that the quality standards are met in compliance with the employment legislation and organisational policy and procedures. Key Tasks: 1. To provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients by handling all HR enquiries in a professional manner, escalating as appropriate to resolve queries or enable actions to be taken. 2. To prepare standard letters, contracts and other documentation as required, under the direction of the Workforce Manager, in order to ensure that the department needs are met. 3. To create and maintain employee personnel records, both computerised and manual. 4. To ensure all employee data is accurately and correctly recorded on HR database including creating new starter profiles, processing leavers, producing reports and ensuring fit notes and other documents are uploaded to the system and up to date for payroll. 5. To maintain office filling systems including paper and electronic so that information can be readily accessed and documents/files are archived appropriately. 6. To communicate effectively, both verbal and written, with all internal and external stakeholders, in line with organisational policies and procedures. 7. To provide support for recruitment activities including preparing application packs, liaising with recruitment managers to keep them informed and up to date, preparing short listing matrix as appropriate for the job role, and assisting with interview arrangements. 8. To carry out pre-employment checks such as references, DBS screening and Right to Work checks, in an efficient and timely manner. 9. To assist with the preparation and support of formal meetings including taking and drafting minutes, booking rooms, and preparing letters for formal meetings. 10. To work alongside the Workforce Manager to review, develop and implement a variety of HR projects. 11. Under the guidance of the Workforce Manager, to support line managers and participate in a range of HR meeting. 12. Monitor sickness and absence records producing reports and documentation when required. 13. Provide support and cover for other team members during demanding workloads and colleagues' absence to ensure the efficiency of the department. 14. To be the administrator for the organisations e-learning software system, ensuring all new staff are set up with login details and are fully aware of what mandatory training they are required to complete and the frequency. 15. To liaise with line managers to ensure members of staff are meeting their e-learning milestones. 16. To act as the central point of contact for all e-learning queries and to liaise with the external company to resolve any issues. 17. Under the guidance of the Workforce Manager or Senior Management Team to work closely with relevant staff across the organisation to co-ordinate and organise internal and external training and development. 18. To ensure staff training records are kept up-to-date and recorded on their electronic file. 19. To fully support the Workforce Manager and Senior Management Team to achieve the training and personalisation strategy. 20. To work closely with managers across the whole organisation to ensure compliance with the appraisal process. 21. To be aware of and adhere to the regulations and procedures related to Health and Safety, GDPR, Safeguarding, other legislation relevant to the role. 22. Ensure work carried out is compliant with GDPR. 23. To process incoming and outgoing post appropriately and ensure office stationery and equipment is maintained effectively. 24. To undertake any training considered necessary for the post. 25. To undertake any other duties commensurate with the purpose and remit of the post. 26.
