Overview

We are looking for a Senior HR Manager to join a reputable plant hire and machinery movements company in their office in Avonmouth. You will be joining a family established business who have enjoyed growing success since they began operating 30 years ago. This is a newly created role in which you would have management responsibility for the HR Department, oversea all HR activity and implement HR procedures, ensure that the company is compliant, and be a visible presence with Managers. Your key duties and responsibilities will include: - Day to day management of all employee issues - Keeping payroll system and HR files up to date - Manage all recruitment - Manage all employee relation issues of all levels of complexity - Absence management and monitoring grievance - Coordinate all disciplinary/grievance processes to ensure correct procedures are followed and appropriate outcomes reached - Write and implement policies in line with business needs, legislation, and customer/industry requirements - Working closely with the training school to meet the organisations requirements - Managing future organisational restructure including TUPE As the ideal candidates you will have proven HR management experience at a senior level, be an expert on employment law (in the construction industry will be advantageous), CIPD qualification of a minimum level 5, have strong communication skills, great organisational ability and attention to detail, able to juggle and ever-changing workload and adapt to priorities, and be confident and capable or working effectively as part of a busy team.
