So let’s start with ….… Why work as part of our Specifications Team? Our specifications team play a key role making sure great tasting biscuits are launched to market, at pace and on time. Working with cross functionally with teams such as R&D Product Developers, Marketing, Technical Teams, Project Managers & Sales, you will ensure each product formulation has the relevant information available to write both customer and internal product specifications. Alongside this you will be responsible for collecting, updating, inputting, challenging and maintaining the technical information on specifications to meet all legal and customer requirements. Helping us ensure we get things right first time. What experience is needed in this role? For this role, you will need to have an interest in nutritional and food legislation, with some experience in completing and writing specifications for food products before. You may be a Specifications Technologist already, or working in a hybrid role where you may cover tasks across product specifications and inputting key information for artwork. You may have gained this experience during a graduate placement as part of your course. Final part of the mix. What is equally important, is that you have great attention to detail, can spot problems earlier and really enjoy getting the detail right. This will be a busy role so you will need to be comfortable working at pace.
