Occupational Health Advisor - (Part Time 4 days a week) - Sunderland Salary: Up to £38,000 pro rata The company Our client is one of the UK’s leading providers of occupational health services. They also provide innovative medical care training courses that give personnel the skills they need to handle medical emergencies. The Role We are currently recruiting for a qualified Occupational Health Advisor work in Sunderland. This is a part time role where the successful applicant will be required to work 30 hours per week, Monday to Thursday. Occasional travel to two other sites in the Durham and Newcastle area will be required on an ad hoc basis. The successful individual will work as part of a team to deliver an exceptional OH service. You will provide expert, evidence-based case management services for referrals relating to attendance, fitness for work and other requests for occupational health advice and produce professional, comprehensive and evidence based written reports You will provide expert advice in respect of legislative requirements and best practice relating to occupational health and carry out fitness medicals and health surveillance, while evaluating the results of medicals and surveillance activities. You will provide supervision and support other team members as required. The split of this role will be roughly 90% case management and 10% fitness for work assessments and health surveillance activities.
