MBDA Missile Systems - Deliver For A More Secure Tomorrow The Opportunity An opportunity has arisen for a proactive Support Engineer to provide support for our Armed Forces community. This is a highly varied role; you will have the opportunity to work with different products (missiles and weapons systems), across various platforms and working with multiple customers in the UK and internationally. You will build trusted relationships with a complex array of internal and external stakeholders, ensuring MBDA’s reputation is upheld. What are we looking for? Good interpersonal/communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships Self motivated team player able to maintain a professional manner in a dynamic environment Able to adapt quickly to changing requirements and respond quickly to technical issues Experience with Export Control / Intra-Company Logistics / Manufacturing would be preferable but not essential Engineering background with a degree or equivalent experience What’s in it for you? The Role Responsibility for deliveries enabling the Customer to maintain a key weapon capability Developing working relationships with suppliers, Users and Customers Dealing with Customer queries, sentencing and progressing issues Reporting to both MBDA and Customer Senior level meetings Managing defect reviews and recommendation process What’s great about the team? You will be joining a dynamic, focussed Customer Support Service (CSS) team responsible for the in-Service support phase of one of MBDA’s missiles/systems Dealing with different Customers means that every day brings new challenges Please Note : MBDA UK requires all employees to achieve and maintain SC security clearance or above without restrictions that will inhibit the individual’s ability to fulfil the requirements of the role. Your eligibility for the appropriate level of security clearance may be discussed with you during the recruitment process.
