Overview
Key Skills: Assembly, Wiring, PCB, Soldering, Cabling A Junior or experienced Assembly / Electronics based Technician is needed to join a well-established manufacturing company in Hertfordshire. You will be responsible for working hands-on as part of the Assembly team to assemble, wire, solder and test company products. Technician Requirements: Experience of working in a production or assembly department within Electronics or Electronics Manufacturing company Able to skilfully use a wide range of engineering hand tools Able to populate PCB's and solder using Surface Mount and through-hole techniques An ability to cut, solder cables, crimp and terminate cables Understanding of mechanical and electrical circuits Technician Responsibilities: Assemble, wire, solder and test company products and assemblies Work within the Production Engineering team and other internal functions to continuously identify design, process and efficiency improvements PCB population and soldering, using Surface Mount and through-hole Techniques Cut, strip, crimp, terminate and solder cables of varying length and thickness Fit and route wiring harnesses If you are interested in this opportunity please click on Apply now.
