Overview
Excellent permanent opportunity to join a successful, growing and innovative company based in Gloucester. Reporting directly to the Senior Financial Analyst and working as part of the wider finance team, you will perform detailed analysis on business data - providing detailed insight into KPIs and aid decision-making to drive business growth. You will liaise with key departments in the business – marketing, operations, sales and product - delivering timely, accurate and value-added information, across both the whole business and at a product group level. Responsibilities: - Developing, preparing, distributing and commenting on daily, weekly, monthly and annual series of reports and information. - Tracking and monitoring of performances against budget and forecasts highlighting variances and other significant information that needs to be addressed to the management team. - Assist with the accurate and timely completion of the budget and forecast models. - Involvement in the development of pricing models for new products and business strategies. - Assist in preparation of the monthly management accounts. - Involvement with ad hoc financial department assistance / finance projects. The successful candidate will be commercially focused and comfortable in a rapidly-changing business environment. Previous experience in analysing large volumes of data is essential.
