HGV Technician / Engineer required. Bennett and Game are proud to represent a leading Transport and Logistics company situated in West Lancashire that required an experienced HGV Technician / Engineer for an immediate start. The company have been established for 30 years and pride themselves on providing a professional and reliable service to the distribution sector. The vehicles transport chilled and ambient goods, comprised of 3.5 Tonne to 44 Tonne Wagons. The successful candidate will play an integral role in ensuring the vehicles are safe, compliant and operating legally at all times. You are required to have a minimum of 2 years experience within a similar role. HGV Technician / Engineer Position Overview Schedule all routine and required maintenance for company fleet of Tractor Units / Trailers working to support the distribution sector. HGV Technician / Engineer Position Requirements Plan / Schedule all vehicle maintenance Ensure vehicle downtime is kept to a minimum Attend to vehicles that have broken down Manage all vehicle parts suppliers Prepare vehicles for upcoming MOT's Occasional out of hour call outs required. HGV Technician / Engineer - Position Remuneration Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm Holiday - 20 days plus 8 bank holiday Pension Parking Start ASAP.
