Overview
Sewell Wallis have a fantastic opportunity for an accounts clerk to join an established, busy team in Manchester Centre as a Legal Cashier. This is a 9 month temporary position to help during a busy period but will be reviewed at the end of the 9 months as there is possibility for the role to extend to 12 months or be made permanent for the right person. You will need to be available to start immediately or at short notice and whilst they make look at those who are keen to kick-start their career in finance who may have limited experience, they would ideally want someone who has at least a years' experience who understands the functions in transactional finance. Role: Legal Cashier Salary: up to £22,000 Location: Manchester Centre Hours: 9.00am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday, with 1 hour for lunch Your responsibilities will include: Prepare and authorise online electronic bank transfers Monitor and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions Query resolution Bank reconciliations Review & maintain balances Confidently communicate with stakeholders to provide relevant information as requested General accounts administration Please contact Chloe Wilford for further information on this role.
