Staff Nurse - Mental Health rehab low secure Location: Blackpool Salary: up to £36,500 p/a (£16.71 p/h) - Negotiable DoE Hours: Full Time or Part time available , site can be flexible to fit in with your requirements (11.5, 24, 36, 37.5 and 42 hours available) - please state your preference upon application Shifts: Options include days, nights or mixed shifts - please state your preference of days, nights or mixed upon application Contract: Permanent Further Details: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified or experienced RMN, or RNLD to work within a Mental Health rehab and community recovery service in Blackpool for males. Service Details: Situated a mile from the seaside town of Blackpool, Newton House Independent Hospital provides locked rehabilitation, habilitation and treatment to up to 21 men living with complex and enduring mental health conditions. The Hospital has CQC rating of outstanding or good across all key lines of enquiry. It is a supportive environment and team, morale is high and turn over of staff very low. The Hospital Manager is a registered mental health nurse and independent/ supplementary prescriber, he joined MHC in 2012. he has previous experience of working with male and female patients with mental illness and/or personality disorders. He's worked in the private sector since qualifying in 2004, working in Medium and Low Secure mental health services. Preceptorships are also available at site, the preceptorship package is a supportive structured process that allows newly qualified nurses to develop their skills with supervision and guidance. There are additional training and career development opportunities within the company.
