Overview
We are recruiting for an enthusiastic, patient focused Advanced Clinical or Nurse Practitioner to work full time or part time in an Urgent Care Centre In Corby. Corby Urgent Care Centre offers a high standard of unscheduled care from early morning to late evening for patients attending with a wide variety of undifferentiated conditions. As an ACP/ANP you will use your specialist knowledge and skills to provide healthcare, independently, to patients attending the service with undifferentiated and undiagnosed needs. You will act as a role model, delivering advanced practice and promoting clinical effectiveness in care. You will be required to work autonomously in delivering independent assessment, clinical examination, diagnosis, clinical decision making and planning of care and treatment, diagnosis, prescribing, health promotion and safe discharge of patients. Job Requirements: Professional NMC Registration Extended/independent prescribing qualification Accredited A&E or minor illness qualification Evidence of continuous personal development Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Nurse Practitioner qualification/ first contact practitioner (or willing to work towards) Minimum of 3 years experience in primary care setting Experience in working as an autonomous practitioner. Clinical examination skills.
