Overview
We are currently working on behalf of a Market Leading Insurer based in the heart of Bristol who are currently recruiting Clinical Nurses. Within this role you will be responsible for providing medical management services on emergency assistance cases, adhering to best practices within the Medical Panel. The role will include offering advice and opinions on best course of treatment of the condition suffered in simple cases, taking into account the insurance policy coverage, pre-existing conditions etc. You will be the medical brain for a team of Medical Assistance Coordinators who will require support and medical advice on the assessment of the emergency assistance cases they are dealing with on a global basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for medical professionals who are ready to use their clinical background and knowledge in a telephone based emergency role, putting the customer first and delivering exceptional customer service on a global basis To review medical cases based on information received and by following established procedures, ensure that clear and accurate advice is provided to the Operations team and to external providers of medical escort services The client is offering a very competitive salary fab companies benefits Hours - Shift hours covering Monday - Sunday 7.30am - 10pm working a 9 hour day 5 days per week. Experience - All applicants must have a minimum of 3 years clinical experience Experience must have been gained within an A&E, Emergency, ITC, ICU, Trauma clinical background Insurance, medical assistance, claims or telephone based triage assessment experience is desirable but not essential You must also hold a valid up to date NMC PIN registration Fluent Spanish also very beneficial but not essential
