Overview

We are currently working with several civil engineering companies throughout London who are looking to expand their workforces. Due to current and forthcoming large volumes of utility works t hey have an immediate need for several experienced Utilities Surveyors. Key Essentials: Responsible for locating existing underground utilities using RD / GPR equipment prior to excavation works Competent in reading and have a good understanding of utility plans / drawings Carry out surveys of newly laid utilities for clients to provide as-laid drawings Keeping an accurate and up to date diary and records for company files Regularly liaise with clients, organising workload whilst keeping your colleagues informed Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role and fully competent using RD / GPR equipment It is essential that you have previous experience locating utility plant and that you are able to read and understand drawings Excellent time keeping and organisational skills Ideally qualified with NRSWA and CSCS accreditation You should be fully proficient in Microsoft Office packages and hold a full valid UK driving licence as there is a vehicle supplied This position offers excellent career growth potential in either SHEQ or Operational roles utility utilities excavation reinstatement stats safedig cat&genny survey GPR NRSWA locating gas water telecom power electric hv lv RD radiodetection
