Child Protection Advisor – North London – Up to £53,482 About the Role A North London Council we are working with are transforming their services for children and young people and are looking for someone with excellent frontline practice skills, for a Child Protection Advisor role, which creatively serves and develops Social Work. An integral part of the role is supporting the implementation of the Signs of Safety Practice Framework and will involve taking the lead on designing specific ways of working, embracing the latest government initiatives and legislation to deliver the practice vision. The position involves managing and contributing to practice learning arrangements for the children’s workforce, ensuring learning opportunities are maximised. Requirements for the Role Essential to success in this position is; Social Care qualification, registration and PQ experience; Management experience in Children’s Social Care – specifically within frontline teams; The ability to analyse complex information and use this to support improvement in practice; A deep commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable children and their families and going the extra mile to effect change; Substantial knowledge of legislation and statutory responsibilities that underpin Children’s Social Care and the unique ability to convert this knowledge into operational learning opportunities.
