Senior Software Developer / Engineer (PHP Perl DevOps). Hyper-growth start up with international reach is seeking a skilled Senior Software Developer to extend their capabilities in their accomplished software development team. As a Senior Software Developer you’ll have hands-on involvement in the delivery of ground-breaking electronic delivery solutions to enterprise scale organisations. This is an ideal opportunity for an accomplished Senior Software Developer with broad technical knowledge who is looking for a role that balances hands-on development with working in a consultative, client-facing capacity. As a Senior Software Engineer you’ll be granted the agency to work independently as well as in a dynamic team, predominantly using Perl and PHP to maintain and enhance the innovative core product. You’ll be a key point of contact for global sites, taking ownership of quality assurance and testing, DevOps and Automation processes as well as scripting – working to optimise business efficiency. Requirements: You have commercial experience using Perl and PhP You have experience with DevOps tools (e.g. Ansible, Docker, Jenkins etc.) You have excellent knowledge of Linux environments (and are familiar with Windows) You have SQL and MySQL experience You have Apache and IIS experience Desirable: you have experience with Python, JavaScript, jQuery You will be based at offices in Kent, close to local amenities.
