Overview
As the Head of Economic Development, your work will be crucial in strengthening the borough’s economic position. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, you’ll lead on initiatives and projects that’ll improve residents’ lives. You’ll input strategically on economic frameworks that influence annual implementation plans, and review project management systems to ensure best practice methods. You’ll need experience in a similar role, showing high levels of planning and service delivery, as well as an in-depth understanding of wider financial cycles. Your experience leading successful negotiations and developing funding bids will help you when laying out financial strategies.
