Overview
Maria Mallaband Care Group is registered for several categories of care. As a quality operator it is essential that the Internal Recruitment Consultant recognises and accepts that this means always acting in a sensitive and professional manner for the best interest of the organisation and its Service Users. The job title is as stated in the Contract Statement and generally the duties will be appropriate to that title, qualifications and experience. Main Purpose of the Job: To work with the our Management team, building relationships with Care Managers, staff, colleagues and external professionals in order to gain a better understanding of the recruitment needs and requirements of the CompanyTo carry the responsibility of attracting candidates and matching them to temporary or permanent positions within the company, in keeping with the Company culture and work environmentEnsuring that the right candidates are attracted through combining various recruitment techniques including the use of a wide range of media, networking, headhunting, referrals and building an internal database of talent poolTo undertake recruitment related administration and following on as needed in the post offer stage.To comply with all relevant regulations, including Health and Social Care Act 2008 and Regulations 2009 To update own knowledge and reflect on own practice in order to ensure continuous professional improvement Key tasks: Promote Maria Mallaband Care Group and be a brand ambassador;Offer support to our business, guiding our hiring managers on labour market availability, and providing specialist support;Developing a good understanding of the company, the industry & competitors, what we do and our work culture and environment;Using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking in order to fulfil the recruitment needs of the business; Advertising vacancies appropriately by drafting and placing adverts in a wide range of media, e.g. websites, job boards, university websites, publications and events etcProactively use social networking/media to advertise positions; attract candidates and build relationships with candidates and the Homes’ management team;Headhunting - identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in work; Using candidate databases to find the right person for the company’s vacancies and building an internal database with talent pool; Receiving and reviewing applications and shortlisting of candidates; Offering hands on interview support, and offering interviewing training;Briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the role in question; Organising interviews for candidates as requested by the Directors/senior management team;Informing candidates about the results of their interviews; Negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between the Company and candidates; Offering advice to candidates on pay rates, training and career progression; Understand the importance of correct record management and own personal responsibilities in maintaining this through passwords, storage of documentation, and sharing information ( both paper based or on electronic systems)Report breeches of records security to line manager or the Caldicott GuardianTo work within the company's Information Governance policies in order maintain security of personal and sensitive dataFulfil any duties as requested that are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the post. Person Specification: Professional The post holder should have a commitment to ongoing development Experience The post holder will have at least 2 years experience in a recruitment consultant role. General A full, valid driving licence is essential.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
