This is an exciting opportunity for a Front-End Developer to join a team of passionate techies, who love to share knowledge, produce great software and contribute heavily to the open source community Position Overview… This position will see you join our clients Front-End Development team. You will become an integral part of agile development teams to make our clients enterprise products, robust, engaging and creative. We want you to take ownership of the technical delivery and collaborate with senior developers to help deliver market leading products. We will also look for you to continually bring ideas to the table on how to improve the front-end development teams’ development processes, practices, tools and techniques. You will work within a team who love to knowledge share So, it is important that you enjoy working collaboratively and want to always learn and push your technical abilities further. Key Skills… Practical experience in software engineering in a commercial setting Web/Front-end application development in an object-oriented language or framework, e.g. Angular, React, Vue.js, Backbone Practical experience using TypeScript or ES6/7 Knowledge of unit testing and TDD approach Knowledge of basic design patterns and development practices Experienced using source code management tools, e.g. Git Experience of appropriate Agile methodologies and frameworks Excellent written and oral communication skills Desirable skills and experience Understanding of how to build source code and package for consumers, including in Cloud environments Experience in utilizing REST style web services and APIs Knowledge of user interface best practices & experience in developing cross-browser compatible applications Web/back-end application development in an object-oriented framework, e.g. Java or Node.js Experience working with other team members with different specialties in order to deliver a complete capability and drive technical decisions Ready to Apply?
