Overview

My client based in Purton, a small village just outside of Swindon, are seeking a Registered Nurse to join their exceptional team. With an Outstanding rating with the CQC, quality of care and supporting individual needs in a safe and professional manner is essential. You will ideally have 6 months post registration experience, which is desirable but not essential. You will hold a registered Nurse qualification & valid NMC Pin Number, a good standard of education to include English and Maths and have an interest in elderly care. This position is working full time day shifts for 37 hours per week. The atmosphere is one of caring, happiness and positivity. This enabled staff to embed a strong culture that valued people, relatives and staff and promoted a caring ethos. The residents receive exceptional care and support from staff who are skilled and knowledgeable and supported them on an individual basis. They are supported to have choice and control of their lives and staff supported them in the least restrictive way possible; the procedures in the setting supported this practice. People are supported to access health professionals when needed and staff worked closely with people's GPs to ensure their health and well-being was monitored. There are robust staffing levels to meet people's needs and staff have time to spend with people. Risk assessments are carried out and these promoted positive risk taking which enable people to live their lives as they chose. People receive their medicines safely. Their staffing levels are higher than most other care homes and there are a minimum of 2 nurses on shift day and night. Nursing staff are allocated separate off the floor time to undertake their care plan reviews and lead role duties. They continue to reflect people's individuality and personal preferences, you must be able to maintain the excellent standards already in place. We have a vacancy for a night RGN, 10-20 hours per week and a day vacancy full time, 37 hours per week. The pay is £18.00 per hour (£19.00 per hour for Saturday nights).
