Overview

To ensure that the Client's Design and Manufacturing requirements are satisfied from enquiry through to completion, whilst complying with the Quality, Health and Safety procedures of the Company. The Design Engineer will be based out of the office in Highbridge & working hours will be 40 per week between Monday and Friday. Client Details Our client is a leading manufacturing and production business who support various industries such as student accommodation, hotels, military and health care who are looking to grow the team by adding a design engineer near Highbridge. Description The Design Engineer will be responsible for: All design work including Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Detail, Fabrication, Wall Panel drawings, Howick design, BoM's either in Solid Works/AutoCAD 2/3D to be in compliance with Quality procedures, CDM regulations, Building Standards, relevant statutory requirements and any other relevant standards. Ensure all drawings and specifications are checked for accuracy and approved before issue. Work closely with the factory personnel to ensure optimum design and build ability of the product. Maintain drawing and documentation filing system to the required standards. Copy and issue design office documentation to the required standards within previously agreed timescales. Profile The Design Engineer will have a proven track record with Solid Works / AutoCAD 2/3D or similar 3D software packages. Ideally you will have experience of domestic plumbing/electrics and and/or understanding of bathroom fit out and finishes. Proficient in using a computer is essential along with driving licence due to limited public transport links.
