Advanced Clinical/Nurse Practitioner

We are recruiting for an experienced Advanced Clinical/Nurse Practitioner to work full time or part time in a Medical Centre in Leeds. The Medical centre offers a high standard of unscheduled care from early morning to late evenings to patients attending with a wide variety of undifferentiated conditions. As an ACP/ANP you will use your specialist knowledge and skills to provide healthcare, independently, to patients attending the service with undifferentiated and undiagnosed needs. You will act as a role model, delivering advanced practice and promoting clinical effectiveness in care. You will be required to work autonomously in delivering independent assessment, clinical examination, diagnosis, clinical decision making and planning of care and treatment, diagnosis, prescribing, health promotion and safe discharge of patients. Job Requirements: Professional NMC Registration Extended/independent prescribing qualification Accredited A&E or minor illness qualification Evidence of continuous personal development Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Nurse Practitioner qualification/ first contact practitioner (or willing to work towards) Minimum of 3 years experience in primary care setting Experience in working as an autonomous practitioner. Clinical examination skills.
