Overview

We have an excellent opportunity for a Repairs Manager based in Yorkshire on a 12-month FTC Basis. Our client is a highly respected Social Housing Provider who are looking for an ambitious Repairs Manager for a period of Secondment. The salary for the role is £50k p/a, it is working Monday to Friday with the option of flexible working. The successful applicant will be managing a team of Two Surveying Team Leaders, Repairs Business Analyst and all other staff within the Repairs service area. The duties are below: Lead and manage the outsourced repairs and maintenance service, working with colleagues and external contractors to deliver an effective, efficient and customer focussed day to day and voids repairs and maintenance service Manage budgets and resources to ensure that performance and financial targets are met Recruit, manage, support and develop surveying staff so that they make the maximum contribution to the work of the association. Develop Repairs Team Leaders to ensure consistent high standards across teams and empower staff to deliver excellent service Work closely with constructors to ensure that high standards of health and safety practice are always maintained Benefits: Agile working, a company phone and system will be allocated to the succesful applicant so they can work from either home, on site or from the organisation Head office Flexible working hours Mileage pay This role requires you to have a full UK driving license and access to your own car.
