Overview

Blackwaters is recruiting for a Group Credit Controller within a Global Business Services company based near Weybridge. The Business Global Business Services Group is enjoying c 20% year-on-year growth, which is driving the recruitment of this position as the company expands, improves & divesifies it's finance team. The company is regularly winning new business, including contracts with multi-national household name clients. It has operations across Europe, Africa, Asia, Australasia & the Americas. The Role Reporting to the Group Finance Manager. The Group Credit Controller will be responsible for following up with customers on outstanding balances and account queries, and working with the Billing teams, Client Services teams and Account Managers, as well as some ad hoc projects. Responsibilities: Ensuring clients pay on time, while also delivering first class customer service and building excellent relations with all clients Transferring customer invoices from our internal system, checking nominal codes, exchange rates and uploading into our accounting system Updating the AR ledger with payments received and issuing updated statements Corresponding with customers and responding to enquiries within specified time frame Completing relevant vendor set-up forms Ensuring withholding tax certificates are received on time Providing supporting documentation to auditors The Candidate: The company is prioritising applicants who are keen to progress their careers within an expanding business. Alongside, the experiences listed below, exposure to multi-currency transactions would be beneficial. Experience: Knowledge of accounts receivables Knowledge of general accounting procedures Knowledge of accounting software (Sage X3 ideal but not necessary) Experience of working with various currencies
