NVQ Health and Social Care Holders for Support Work: Bristol

Do you have an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care? If you do then Axcis would love to hear from you. We're recruiting for support workers for shifts in children's residential homes across Bristol. You will be working with children with a range of learning disabilities and mental health issues. Ideally you will have undertaken personal care and manual handling before and you will have supported individuals with autism, challenging behaviours, complex needs, medical needs and mental health issues such as depression, OCD and attachment disorders. You will be supporting them with tasks which allow them to live independently in the community whether that's supporting them to get dressed, eat breakfast, take medication, attend social outings, support with their tenancies. Rates starts at £10 an hour and more for weekends. We pay every week, a week in arrears. To work for us you will need to come in for a registration meeting. If you don't have a DBS on the update service you will need to get anew one which will cost you £50 and we will need a minimum of two references. This is a temporary position.
