Forklift Operator/Lorry Driver

Forklift Operator/Lorry Driver: CLASS 2 LICENCE ESSENTIAL Unloading and loading lorries, picking steel and collating orders when not delivering steel between local sites. Driving forklifts to transfer materials between loading, unloading, processing and storage areas in a safe and controlled manner. Organising and securing stored materials. Loading and unloading materials manually as and when required. Responsible for daily checks on the forklift/combi-lift, reporting any damages. Working as part of our team of Operators, picking steel to order, as and when orders are generated. Collating aforementioned orders, and preparing them for loading. Consulting, working and co-ordinating with Supervisors regarding the unloading and loading operations. Hours: 10.30am - 19.00pm, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday with overtime available at time & a half Holiday: 20 days per annum (pro-rata'd) excluding bank holidays (5 days to be retained for Christmas closure) Benefits: Annual Summer discretionary bonus scheme Life Insurance Company Pension Scheme Private Medical Healthcare after 3 years' service 10 days sick pay allowance after 5 years' service Long service bonus after 10 years PPE provided Dependent on experience you have the potential to earn up to £32,000 per annum.
