Overview
We are currently looking to recruit several Warehouse Operatives for our client based in Hoo. Due to the location of their depot it is imperative that you have your own transport as there is no public transport to the site. Training will be provided but you should have at least 6 months’ experience working in a warehouse environment. Safety boots must always be worn by all staff as this is a busy production site in operation 24 hrs. You should be physically fit, able to stand for long periods and capable of repetitive work, assembly experience is advantageous. You will need to be flexible as there are two shifts you will be required to work and these rotate weekly, week one 6am-2pm and week 2 2pm -10pm. Occasional Saturday early shift can also be available. Salary: Hourly rate £8.72 for first 12 weeks, 28 days holiday entitlement and pension. After 12 weeks of service basic hourly rate increases to £9.60 and any hours worked over basic shift length are paid at hourly overtime rate £10.70.
