Merchandising Assistant

Bristol £18k My client are looking for bright and dynamic individuals to join their fantastic office as a Merchandising assistant. In this role you will work closely with the Buyers and Merchandisers to help manage the distribution of stock within the business as a team. You will be analysing large amounts of data and be making recommendations for replenishment. You will need to communicate regularly with the Buyer to discuss and improve stock turn. Got a degree or passion in Retail, Fashion, Business or Maths - This role could be perfect for you. Job Duties: To compile stock and sales reports ensuring data accuracy. To analyse reports and make recommendations regarding stock distribution. Liaise with the Area Managers, the Visual Merchandising and buying teams to discuss stock issues and communicate/recommend necessary action to be taken. Store visits in order to review stock packages. To organise and monitor offloads/transfers of stock in the most cost-effective way for the business. To raise Purchase orders in line with company requirements. You'll need: To be able to work on your own initiative. Exceptional team working skills. A strong Retail and Excel experience are essential. A basic knowledge of supply chain management is recommended but not essential.
