Production Supervisor C£25,000 Dartford Sa/ps My Client is a fast growing, innovative company whose focus is on Quality in everything they do. To support this growth, they are now looking for a Production Supervisor to work on a continental shift pattern, to ensure that processing, assembly and packing areas are managed to a high standard. The Role: Production Supervisor Train and support Team Leaders Ensure the safety, legality and quality of products Management of production staff Attend daily and weekly meetings with Shift Manager to analyse results Ensure efficient labour usage to meet business targets Liaise daily with Senior Supervisor on production targets Be the first point of contact in designated area of responsibility Understand and challenge area efficiencies, waste, H&S and compliance Set example and enforce company policies and procedures Ensure GMP standards are maintained throughout production areas Deputise for Senior Supervisor in their absence Ensure team goals are successfully achieved Skills / Experience / Qualifications - Production Supervisor - shift The ability to perform manual handling tasks as necessary Able to work in a chilled environment Experienced with Training and staff assessment First Aid Certificate - ideal Knowledge of BRC and HACCP Continuous improvement mind set Good communication skills Good delegation and inspection skills Teamwork, able to work and liaise with others to Delegation skills Good numerical and literacy levels Good spoken English and communication skills Connect2Staff/Connect2Kent, part of Commercial Services Trading/Kent Ltd, is an equal opportunities Employment Agency & Business and positively encourages applications from all suitably qualified and eligible candidates.
