Overview

Project Controller - Primavera P6 Based in Portsmouth a Project Controller with Primavera P6 experience is required on a 6 month contract basis for a major defence client. This is an great opportunity to join a leading edge and exciting programme of work which does offer an excellent working environment. The main purpose of the role is to support the collation, updating and analysis of business data using project control processes for projects. This requires the hands-on use of a range of business systems and Project Control toolsets. Skills and Experience required: Good attention to detail with strong organisation skills. Working knowledge of Earned Value principles. Working knowledge of scheduling, project tracking, critical path analysis, baseline and change management. Understanding of risk and opportunity management including both schedule and cost risk analysis. Ability to work under pressure & deliver outputs in tight timescales. Understand the principles of bid and estimating processes. PC literate with good working knowledge of the MS Office suite and a sound knowledge of planning toolsets. Good working knowledge of Primavera P6. Good knowledge of project management principles (APM Certified desirable).
