Your new company This technology focussed organisation has established itself as a real leader in their field. They have continually grown their Software Engineering function and are in a position to support a new .Net Developer with a back end focus to bolster the team. You'll be based out of their Head Office near Farnham which is commutable from most parts of Surrey, but you will require your own transport. Your new role You'll be working on a meaningful set of projects which genuinely influence thousands of people every day. The business is looking to modernise their product suite, so you'll be hands-on from an early stage, contributing to this next iteration. You will be working with a highly functional team that follow a set of design patterns that have kept them ahead of competition for decades. You will be working on complex mission critical systems including migrating existing products to web delivered UI with a distributed event-based business processing backend. The role will allow you to expand on your current technical skills in a practical & focused environment with the opportunity to research and use your own innovative techniques on live projects. The company is forward thinking and want to provide a progression plan from an early point for all hires. It is also a multi-functional team so you will be able to learn other languages and technologies by sitting alongside other talented developers. What you'll need to succeed It is essential that you have excellent knowledge C#, .Net MVC (or Asp.Net as a minimum) along with Relational database skills (Oracle or SQL Server). This should be supported by knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript coupled with usual MS Stack tech like Entity Framework, LINQ and Restful API's. The technologies they adopt for each project change, so it's crucial to be flexible to move across different frameworks and tools as needs arise. There will be a technical task as part of the assessment process using TestDome, so you should be comfortable completing this if applying.
