PMO Planning & Reporting Analyst This Financial Services business is looking for a PMO Planning and reporting analyst to join their Change team, reporting directly into the planning and control team manager. It's an exciting time to be joining as they are entering the next phase of their journey looking at how they change the face of the industry. Key Responsibilities The PMO Planning and Reporting Analyst will play an integral role in defining, implementing, monitoring and reporting against a robust governance and controls framework for managing change. Key responsibilities will include: Manage overall Portfolio Planning against resource available Able to track impacts of changes and delays against the portfolio and report as appropriate Provide analysis and mitigants to delays and changes in the portfolio to ensure dependencies are managed Collect project status information, including performance against plans, issues and change control Reporting project and programme portfolio progress Centralised customer focused office that plans portfolio delivery, assesses impacts of changes against the portfolio and ensures that the company has the information required to ensure the critical business Skills, Knowledge and Experience Experience of managing a PMO using structured methods; Experience of working with complex project, programme or portfolio plans Ability to determine the best ways of presenting information using a variety of tools; Ability to develop, prepare and improve a range of project documentation in appropriate formats to help stakeholders understand key aspects of the project or programme e.g. roadmaps, plans on a page, highlight reports, RAID reports, capacity plans, dependency matrix and budget controls; Experience of using MS Excel and MS Visio to manipulate data for analysis and reporting Ability to work in a complex environment in which judgement, confidentiality and discretion need to be exercised A flexible and adaptable approach to work The ability to prioritise own workload and deliver against demanding deadlines Self-motivation drive and determination to delivery results Rigour in following or improving established processes Certified project, programme and portfolio management qualifications are an advantage Good working knowledge of the MS product suite including Project, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio Experience of working with third parties is an advantage This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89939765
