Part-Qualified Accountant - Ellesmere Port - £24-£29k - Study Support on Offer Your new company A well-known and growing, global business based in Ellesmere Port are looking to grow their finance team by adding in a Part-Qualified Accountant to the team. You will be working for a progressive business and with a progressive Finance Director, that is performing very strongly financially at the moment and is keen to bring in an ambitious candidate that is keen to complete their CIMA qualification and have the opportunity in the future to move in to a leadership role. Your new role You will work closely with the Finance Director and with the wider finance team, preparing management accounts, weekly cash flow forecasts and the preparation of statutory accounts. You will manage the preparation of sales invoices, supplier invoices and expense processing and will prepare and submit VAT returns. You will prepare management reporting and will assist with the budgeting forecast. You will prepare statutory accounts, prepare audit files and assist with the development of junior members of the team. What you'll need to succeed Ideally you will be studying towards your CIMA qualification and will have experience within a busy finance function, specifically within the preparation of management accounts. You will be a confident individual that has the ability to manage upwards and will be highly proactive. You should be strong on Excel and have used various accounting packages. The role would suit a highly organised and commercial individual who is keen to progress their career.
