Overview
Software Engineer - Test job available in Northamptonshire. Commutable from Luton, Bedford, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Towcester, Banbury and surrounding areas. Due to growth, we are seeking an experienced Software Engineer - Test to join a long standing global leader in open architecture rugged embedded systems. The company's products and solutions can be found in many high profile military/aerospace sea, land and air programs, as well as in commercial and industrial organizations in which rugged reliability is mission-critical. Key responsibilities of the Software Engineer - Test job include: Develop and maintain automated test sequences/scripts Generating quotations for test equipment and test tools. Support processes with suitable documentation and training to improve the automated test process. Close liaison with the manufacturing and management teams. Review products and provide feedback to stakeholders. Take on Team Leader responsibilities in the Test area Responsible for ongoing change and improvements with the test engineering activities Skills/knowledge required for the Software Engineer - Test: Ideal educated to degree standard on or related job experience. Experience working in a Test development and manufacturing in a low volume/high mix environment. Test software knowledge and experience. Strong experience in C and Assembly programming.
