Overview

A fantastic Credit Controller position has recently come available for the at a highly reputable business based in Wolverhampton. As a Credit Controller, you will be chasing debtors for payments as well as liaising closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that all cash coming into the business is reconciled accurately and efficiently against payments being made. As a Credit Controller, your responsibilities will include: To maximise the collection of debt and ensure remedial solutions are provided to ensure debtor days are reduced in line with targets. Focus on reducing and maintaining overdue debt at acceptable levels, ensuring cash collection targets are also achieved. To ensure all customers pay outstanding debt in line with their terms ƒ Cash collection is maximised Cash allocation is regularly reviewed and up-to-date Strong stakeholder relationships particularly with commercial and customers are developed and maintained Compliance with all relevant legislation and internal controls, ensuing SOX compliance is effective As a Credit Controller, you will have/be: Substantial experience in credit management and Shared services environment Pro-active, responsive and action orientated Ability to work in a constantly changing & process challenging environment Must have 3 years' experience within collections & credit control Deliver to strict & tight guidelines Able to maintain a high level of accuracy while meeting deadlines Proven track record of achieving KPI's Knowledge of our organisation's industry would be an advantage Comprehensive knowledge of credit process & procedures is essential, along with ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills Excellent IT skills including Word/Excel Self-motivated, enthusiastic & flexible Good organisational skills Show passion with 'can do' attitude For more information on this, or any other finance roles in Birmingham City Centre, please contact Robert McShane at Robert Walters PLC on
