Overview
This position is ideally suited to an experienced Manager who is looking to take the step into a Senior Manager role, or a Senior Manager who wants to move into a reputable, top 10 Firm. Client Details Based in Guildford, this fantastic firm acts for a wide spectrum of clients across very varied industries, sectors and turnovers. Alongside a larger proportion of smaller sole traders partnerships and limited companies under FRS105, the firm also acts for a significant number of larger OMBs, SMEs, not for profit and larger corporates with audit requirements. The firm is a large practice, with long-serving managerial professionals, supporting Directors/Partners and a team of qualified/part ACA/ACCAs, AATs, trainees and administration support. The firm provides services across the range and has developed very longstanding relationships with clients, partnering with them and working as all-round trusted advisers. Description Joining the firm as Accounts Senior Manager, in their Guildford offices, you will take on responsibility and management for the delivery of all round, general accountancy practice services to a wide ranging client base. This will be moulded to a good degree around the preferences, motivations and background of the right professional and will be totally focused on clients under the audit threshold in turnover, with an entirely accounts/management accounts/ tax focus. You will report, and work, closely and directly with a partner and manage a successful team. Alongside this you will have a hands-on approach and be involved in wide-ranging accounts production for Ltd company/sole trade and partnership accounts, advise on tax planning and deal with high level queries, such as discussing business structures as just one example, along with involvement in wider-ranging project and advisory/planning work. You will manage staff and their workload, review work and monitor staff progression and take on a client-facing role. You will carve a pivotal role in this successful firm and develop and progress in your career. Profile You will be any of ACA / ACCA / ATT / CTA qualified, or equivalent ideally, with a demonstrable career background within the accountancy practice sector, managing the delivery of all round services to a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited company clients across wide ranging sectors and turnovers. You will have post-qualified experience, with anything from 5 years or more experience ideally, following qualification.
