Overview

SEMH One to One Tutor LAC Could you change the future, by supporting a Looked After Child with social, emotional, and mental health needs to engage with their education? Are you confident in tutoring key basic skills, including Maths and English, to upper primary (KS2) level? Are you comfortable engaging in moderate outdoor activities, such as football and sports? Do you have experience of supporting pupils with Social Emotional Mental Health needs or Looked After Children? Are you confident in working with children with ASD, ADHD, or other comorbid conditions? Are you familiar working in a One to One setting? The Job… You'll be kept busy, planning and delivering one to one basic skills tutoring to a Year 11 pupil in a residential home setting. You will be focussed and dedicated; working intensively to offer support to a LAC. You'll take initiative, be resilient, and drive the pupil to achieve and progress. You'll work on learning activities, promote confidence, and encourage the pupil to act independently to succeed.
