Overview

A highly regarded Insurance company has a key new opening to join their Nottingham Office as an Insurance Auditor. You will be based out of the Nottingham office however you will also carry out onsite audits with MGAs and coverholders predominantly around the London area which will therefore require an element of flexibility. You will assist the Senior Auditor with the development, implementation and maintenance of the company's Delegated Authorities framework working closely with the claims and underwriting department. It will be within your remit to maintain agreed service levels within the Delegated Authorities/ Agency, Audit and Quality Assurance Department and also adhere to all Regulatory Requirements. You will work closely with the Senior Auditor in ensuring the appropriate and timely performance of due diligence on new and existing material third party organisation. Assisting in the preparation and management of appropriate contractual arrangements; preparing, agreeing, delivering and following-up on a program of in depth audits of all the activities of material third party organisations that undertake underwriting and claims management activities on behalf of the company. A key part of the role will be the creation of a documented risk based approach for the identification of third parties to be audited. You will work with the business to identify those third parties falling within scope and create an audit plan and budget. Following your audits you will ensure that all recommendations are properly followed through by the business owner, and reporting on any failures to the Risk and Compliance Committee. To be considered you will have a strong auditing background ideally within insurance however other financial services backgrounds will be considered.
