Staff Nurse - Learning Disabilities Rehabilitation Location: The Wirral, Merseyside Salary: £36,500 p/a (£17.54 p/h) - Negotiable DoE all hours paid Hours: 0745 - 2000 days or 1945 - 0800 Shifts: Flexible working options part time and full time available - set shifts considered Contract: Permanent Are you an experienced Mental Health Nurse or Learning Disabilities Nurse or maybe looking for a preceptorship in Learning Disabilities and challenging behaviours with flexible working options in The Wirral? Service Details: Our service boasts panoramic views over Liverpool bay and the Royal Liverpool Golf Course. The coastal location lends itself perfectly for walking or cycling. The largest towns on the Wirral peninsula include Birkenhead and Wallasey which are easily accessible by a range of network links; car or public transport. We are looking for Mental Health Nurses and Learning Disabilities nurses who are confident in any situation and Nurses who can lead, hard work does not go unrewarded or unnoticed here and the progression opportunities are fantastic, Our Hospital Manager actually started as a Senior Staff Nurse in the service with us and has progressed to such a senior role all funded by the organisation. We value our nurses and if there is training you want to undertake to progress, we want to help you. We offer an accelerated 6 month preceptorship programme with full support too. Our service has been open for 5 years and in that time we have had 4 positive discharges - long term patients who have come to us from secure hospitals who, following their stay with us, have gone on to never needing to be within a secure setting again. We have 9 beds altogether within our service Shifts : We have many options available and can be flexible to fit in with your lifestyle, we have some nurses that work on a 3,3,3,3 shift pattern and some who work 4,3,4,3 and some who work on a fixed shift pattern too.
