At the bottom of this role advert, you’ll find more information on why you’ll enjoy working with us… Job Description We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to provide key accounting support to Link Asset Services. Based within a small, newly formed finance team in our Leeds office, your main responsibilities will include: Responsible for reconciling and recharging costs throughout the company, ensuring costs incurred are accurate and reflect usage, challenging those that seem inaccurate Creation/maintenance of recharge models to facilitate efficient and accurate processing for group overheads and IT Supporting Financial Account with the intercompany balances ensuring mismatches are highlighted and resolved Maintain Group Fixed Asset Registers, capitalising assets and running depreciation on a monthly basis Support Finance in preparing and processing journals for month end Raise and maintain purchase orders in relation to spend, ensuring they are correctly updated and assigned spend is tracked accurately Provide support to Link Group finance teams in regards to collating responses to audit queries Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following key attributes: Previous experience in an accounts related role AAT or similar studier Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and some knowledge of ERPln/Vision/TM1 would be extremely advantageous.
