Overview
A global financial services company with an office in Chelmsford is looking for a high calibre accountant to ensure the monthly and quarterly reporting processes operate in an efficient and timely manner. Key outputs of the role are: Monthly, half year and year end reporting to Group Financial Operations; Annual report and financial statements for each entity; Numeric input and analysis for each service company board paper; Ledger control, ensuring reconciliations and other key monthly controls are completed and retained on the audit file. Monthly consolidation submissions via HFM group-wide systems and process enhancements to improve the timeliness and quality of reporting Produce the numeric data and analysis for inclusion in the board papers. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (part qualified with the relevant industry experience will be considered) and will have advanced general ledger skills and a high level of control and reconciliation appreciation.
