Customer Support Engineer (Maritime Multi Media) - Gosport - Competitive Salary Benefits A well established high technology engineering company is seeking to employ a Customer Support Engineer to join their Gosport based engineering centre on a permanent basis. The successful Customer Support Engineer will be responsible for providing clear and effective, world class pre/post sales technical advice and solutions to solve existing, and potential customers needs with regards to company products and technology. Other responsibilities include; fault finding, repairing, maintaining and upgrading satellite TV and recreational systems on Naval vessels In order to be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have proven experience of providing support to customers from a technical perspective concerning Multi Media systems (Wi-Fi and TV). Candidates must be able and willing to travel UK wide and occasionally globally at short notice for periods of up to a week. As such a valid driving license and Passport are pre-requisites for this role. It would be advantageous to have experience with marine VSAT, UHF SATCOM systems, as it would be to have experience of Audio/Video installation and repairs, and understanding of RF and Network principles, and knowledge of Spectrum Analysers. This opportunity is based in Gosport and is commutable from Fareham, Portsmouth, Southampton, Isle of Wight, Farlington, Cosham, Drayton, Horndean, Waterlooville, Havant, Denmead, and other locations within the Hampshire region.
