Network Engineer / Architect

Network Engineer / Architect Clearance: Please note that due to the timescales the client requesting profiles with an active SC clearance as a minimum. Sanderson Government and Defence are delighted to be presented with a well-established client who are looking for a Network Engineer / Architect to join their team in Preston. Please note that the role is inside IR35 Skills and Requirements CCNP certification or similar Hands on firewall and router configuration. Best practice knowledge and experience in naming conventions and management of networks including IP address ranges, firewall rules, DNS, routing. Capable and willing put the theory into practice (i.e. hands on techie) as well as contribute to design. 5 years` experience of administrating and configuring enterprise class data centre network and firewall equipment including Cisco Nexus, ASA, Juniper, and Checkpoint. 2 years` experience of virtual networking using VMWare. Strong experience with WAN & LAN Networks, SSL encryption, SSL Termination and deep packet inspection.
