Semi Senior

Semi Senior job in Hertford, Hertfordshire for an AAT qualified accountant or a Semi Senior studying towards their ACCA/ACA professional accountancy exams or who has recently passed them. This is a superb opportunity for a Semi Senior who is looking to join an accountancy firm that services clients across Hertfordshire and the wider Home Counties. You will gain significant amounts of general accountancy experience whilst also being supported in your professional accountancy exams. Reporting into a Senior Accountant the successful Semi Senior will provide support in the management of a client portfolio whilst having opportunities for career progression. Given the nature of this role, the ideal Semi Senior will have good communication and technical skills combined with a desire to deliver excellence in all that they do whilst enjoying a progressive career. Applicants should currently be or have recently worked in an accountancy firm. The Semi Senior will undertake the following duties: Act as the first point of contact for a diverse client portfolio Accounts preparation for Limited companies, Sole traders, Partnerships and Charities Preparing both personal and corporation tax returns Attending client meeting Reviewing the work of more junior accountants Bookkeeping With full study support towards your AAT/ACCA or ACA accountancy qualification, if required, combined with a defined route for career progression this is an exciting opportunity to join an established firm of accountants based in Hertford, Hertfordshire.
