Overview
Experienced Logistics Manager required for leading organisation based in Oxfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an events and logistics manager with a catering background to join an organisation that offer great career development, great working environment as well as being a specialist within their field. As Logistics Manager you will be required to: Plan, design, deliver and execute events Staff leadership Site management Deliver, installation and build planning of event locations Logistical research, including financial planning, cost effectiveness and practical operations Ensure all legislation is adhered to especially H&S Assist Event Manager and Project lead with realistic budgets Attend and participate in client meetings and suggest ideas and ways of improvement if required Communicate and manage contractors Assist other senior managers when required Skills and experience required Strong experience of event planning and execution Catering knowledge and experience is essential International events experience is highly desirable Up to date with all H&S legislation as well as in-depth knowledge of H&S practices Team leadership and management Operational support Client and contractor management and interaction Strong relationship building skills Ability to work well under pressure Strong attention to detail Excellent communication and organisational skills Please note: Only candidates with the relevant skills and experience will be contacted regarding this position.
