Overview
A leading Legal 500 firm with one of the largest teams of lawyers in the South outside London, are seeking a Risk and Compliance Assistant. You will join a team ensuring the firm and individuals within the firm practice and promote the highest standards of legal and regulatory compliance. This role has come about due to growth in the team, you will carry out conflicts searches as well as conflicts analysis as well as assisting in implementation of the conflicts and compliance processes. There will also be the opportunity to carry out due diligence and AML duties. You will have the ability to liaise with partners and fee earners to assist with risk and compliance and escalate any issues to the Head of Compliance as appropriate. You will have experience working in a similar risk and compliance role ideally educated to degree level. Candidates will have excellent communication and team working skills and will have the ability to prioritise work well.
