Overview
Software Developer / .Net Engineer (C# .Net Distributed Systems Low Latency SaaS). Are you a tech-driven Software Developer looking to make an impact in a company with international reach? You could have hands-on involvement across the whole SDLC in a fast-paced development environment and have the opportunity to participate in and contribute to tech talks and meetups. The organisation is dedicated to providing first rate solutions for European wholesale energy markets, used worldwide by traders, brokers and exchanges in multiple asset classes across OTC. As a Software Developer you'll join a close-knit, Agile team, participating in Pair Programming to build the SaaS trading platform, deliver new features with frequent release cycles. You'll gain invaluable exposure to the full software development lifecycle, from refining requirements, planning, implementation through to delivery and contributing to technical discussions. In this Software Developer position you'll be granted the agency to influence the direction of development, selecting the tools and technologies you wish to design and deliver the most optimal solutions. You'll work with a diverse, current tech stack comprised of C# .Net, Event Driven Architectures and real-time distributed systems with high throughput and low latency. You'll be based in modern, open plan offices in the heart of the City with a software house feel, where you can enjoy free breakfast, drinks and snacks and quiet break out areas. Requirements: You're an expert in C# and SQL with experience writing efficient, concurrent .Net code. You have experience working on scalable distributed systems You have experience with exchange connectivity You have strong working knowledge of TCP/IP and WebSockets You're collaborative by nature, keen to get stuck in when working with others and a key contributor to technical discussions Desirable: experience with Git / TeamCity / Octopus As a Software Developer, you'll earn a highly competitive salary (to £90k) plus bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including share scheme, exercise / sports allowance, pension contribution, generous holiday allowance, holiday and travel insurance and more.
